Don was previously a Shannon's employee for 17 years; he was SBO's first employee!

Conor is one of the founding member of the NJ Fly Tyer's Guild and our resident gear guru. If you've got questions about how to best use your setup - Conor's your man!

Roy has fished since he could walk but discovered fly fishing in high school through Hemingway. In between helping customers on the weekend, Roy pens our fishing reports!

Former Chester Township mayor and Grandma to Amelia and Lillian, Marcia coordinates our guide trips and events and assists with inventory management.

The Electric Tyer himself! When he's not at his vise whipping out flies for the shop, John enjoys guiding all levels of anglers - for over 20 years now.
Gerry worked at Shannon's for 9 years and has been with us since our first day! He is a Euro-nymphing machine and loves to teach others the art, guiding year-round!
Lou is a lifelong angler with 40+ years as a flyfisher and fly tier. He is an all-around angler whose motto is "Keep it simple." His strengths are Euro Nymphing Techniques, Streamer Tactics, and Tenkara.
Bart has been fly fishing and fly tying for 40+ years. Although he travels the country to fish for trout and salmon and chases fish in the salt, his true passion is fly fishing for bass, panfish, and other warm-water species.
Our resident writer guides for the shop when he isn't teaching high school English. Roy love's dry fly fishing, teaching the mechanics of the cast, and swinging a streamer
He loves to fish small wild trout streams in search for the native brook trout. He started guiding in 2024 and can help you master the necessary techniques for both Euro and indicator nymphing.
Tim Flagler has been guiding for over 10 years and fly fishing for 40+! A master on the tying vise - the skill set translate right over to on the water as well. Euro Nymphing and Trout Spey are just two of his specialties!
She has always been fascinated by fly fishing and entomology. Fly fishing quickly became one of her greatest passions, and she discovered the abundance of excellent streams in the area, such as the South Branch of the Raritan and the Musconetcong.

The saying the apple doesn't fall far from the tree couldn't be more true. Drew startedf ly fishing in 2017 and has been guiding for 2 years now. Drew loves to go bluelining! In his spare time, he also dabbles with ink art and graphic design.

Scott has been fly fishing for over 15 years, and he is passionate about historical flies, fly fishing history, and loves seeing a fish rise to classic Catskill dry flies. He started guiding in 2023.

Fritz has been fishing for as long as he can remember, if it swims- he'll catch it. He's also a USCG 6 pack captain, and has been guiding in NJ now for around 4 years.
