Public water guided fishing
Our professional staff will guide you on some of New Jersey's finest rivers: South Branch of the Raritan River (including the Ken Lockwood Gorge), the Musconetcong River, the Lamington / Black River, and the Pequest River. If you are looking to explore tributaries or a specific creek, we can absolutely help you out with that as well. We are excited to begin offering Pennsylvania guide trips very soon! All guiding clients are required to sign an insurance waiver prior to beginning their trip.

We specialize in providing clients, especially those new to the area or fly fishing, a fun and information filled experience on our local waters. Experts and beginners can improve their casting, presentation, wading, fly selection, knot tying, entomology and stream etiquette. SBO is located one mile from the Ken Lockwood Gorge, one of New Jersey's premier fly fishing destinations, as well as many other great areas in this lovely corner of the Garden State. Let our guides share with you their decades of experience to provide a fun and productive day of fly fishing.
All of our guides are "in-house guides", fully insured and certified in CPR. Guides provide basic terminal tackle including flies, tippets and leaders. Rental gear (boots, waders, and rod) are available.
Group rates available upon request.
Public water rates
4 hour, "half-day", walk/wade trips:
$250 for a single angler
$300 for two anglers
$575 for three anglers
$600 for four anglers
We limit each guide to no more than 2 anglers.

EQUIPMENT RENTAL
Waders + Boots - $25 for the session
Rod + Reel - $25 for the session
Rental gear is only available for guide trip customers for the day of their trip
