Originally created in 2005, the Rush Series reels.quickly garnered a following among discerning anglers. We listened to these anglers and in 2012 we reduced the reel's weight and modified the look, giving it some of the features of our revered OB reel. We altered the porting pattern on the spool face and opened up the back of the frame to our recognized, open back, tri-spoke design.
These changes reduced the weight, sharpened the appearance and maintained the ruggedness the original Rush Series reels were valued for. This ruggedness and durable construction is the most prominent feature of the Rush Light. It can take one beating after another and continue to perform with flawless reliability. Whether it's the one reel you buy for life, the reel you use to guide clients, or the reel in the quiver of the hardest core anglers, the Rush Light does not disappoint in form or function.
While maintaining the traditional look and feel of the Rush, with the Rush Light we were able to minimize the machining and handwork involved, keeping costs down and in turn passing on that value to the customer, while maintaining the quality that has been a hallmark of the Galvan tradition from day one. Whether pulling in big rainbows in Alaska or playing goldens in the lower Sierra Nevadas the Rush Light is the perfect blend of quality, durability and pleasing aesthetics.

Strict Fraud Prevention Rules
To protect our customers and our business, all orders are subject to the following security protocols:
- Matching Addresses Required: For your protection, the billing address must match the shipping address. Discrepancies will result in the order being canceled automatically. For legitimate gift orders, please contact us prior to purchasing.
- Orders placed via VPN, proxy services, or from IP addresses that do not geographically align with the billing/shipping location will be flagged and are subject to cancellation.
- No Third-Party or Forwarding Addresses: We do not ship to freight forwarders, 3rd party delivery services, P.O. boxes, virtual addresses, or overseas.
- Verification Speed Bumps: High-value orders or those flagged by our security system may require additional verification. We reserve the right to request a phone confirmation or a redacted photo of a government-issued ID to confirm the cardholder’s identity before fulfillment.
- Signature Confirmation: All orders valued over $250.00 will require a physical signature upon delivery.
- Right to Cancel: Any order suspected of fraud will be canceled without prior notification.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as coffee) or custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Exchanges can be handled in store as part of a purchase. All exchanges must also be in original condition same as a return.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
